If you're not quite ready to give up the holiday spirit, the DeFuniak Springs' Christmas Lights Display, Christmas Reflections, runs through New Year's Eve. With more than 8 million lights twinkling and reflecting on the lake, you'll find just a bit more holiday spirit as your explore the grounds. An assortment of Victorian, animals, toy soldiers, Santa's Workshop, and a nativity scene, among other festive displays, decorate the grounds. Horse-drawn carriage rides are also available for an additional charge. Admission is $3 per person, and children under 6 are admitted for free. While Emerald Coast residents joke that DeFuniak Springs is too far away, it's actually an easy drive from both Destin and South Walton. From U.S. Hwy 90 West, turn right onto U.S. Hwy. 331 South. Turn left at the light on Live Oak Ave. and follow to the entrance of Christmas Reflections. From U.S. Hwy 90 East, turn left at the Red Light onto U.S. Hwy. 331 South. Turn left at red light (at the top of the hill) on Live Oak Ave. and follow to the entrance of Christmas Reflections. From south of DeFuniak, take U.S. Hwy. 331 North into DeFuniak, and turn right onto Live Oak Ave.
