Created by and featuring artist Chantelle Rytter & Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons, The Village of Baytowne Wharf Lantern Parade is a free event and an opportunity for the surrounding community and visitors to celebrate the fun & the people of Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort! We want to see our whole community as volumes of light! The only requirement to participate is having a lantern! Spectators can watch the parade around The Village.
Everyone is invited to make a lantern and parade through the Village with a dozen giant lantern puppets created by Chantelle Rytter + Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons!
Your creative play is the best gift to your community. Get your craft on with Rytter's Lantern Ideas & Inspiration page or join the free lantern-making workshop on Saturday, 1pm-3pm at The Village.
ALSO! you can decorate your golf cart and ride in the parade! Every parade loves cheering spectators! After the parade, meet the puppets by the Christmas tree! For more information and to register your golf cart please email baytowne@raebirdevents.com
