Things to Do

Farmer's Markets are popping up all over the Emerald Coast. So if you're in need (or in want) of local produce, eggs, baked goods and condiments, you have plenty of choices. From fresh flowers to fresh eggs, you'll find what you're looking for- and probably some things you didn't know you needed. The 30-A Farmer's Market in Rosemary Beach Town Center, is held rain or shine from 9-2 on Thursdays and Sundays, until the end of August. The market is filled with local vendors selling International Food, locally grown produce, fruits, vegetables, eggs, and baked goods. Head out to Seaside for their Farmer's Market on Tuesdays or Saturdays this summer. Located behind Raw and Juicy, you'll find local food, arts, crafts, bake goods, and cooking demonstrations from local restaurants. The area's newest farmer's market is the Destin Main Street Market, held Saturday 9-1 at the Destin Water Users  building on Main Street in the heart of Destin. Local vendors are selling produce, honey, baked goods, and even dog treats! Farmer's Markets are a great way to experience some of the best locally grown produce, baked goods, and dairy products. They are also a great way spend a morning exploring the towns of the Emerald Coast.
