"Between Rosemary Beach and Watersound is the dreamy community of Seacrest Beach. On the western edge of Seacrest Beach is a splendid dune lake, Camp Creek. Camp Creek meanders along and runs up against the sands of the Gulf waters, sometimes opening and exchanging waters there.

This rare dune lake, one of many in south Walton country, is a prize that Seacrest Beach residents are well aware of. It’s difficult not to look out the car window when passing or difficult not to stop while walking or riding by. Because while the beaches of Seacrest Beach are as sensational as any in the world, more exists here than the Gulf waters.

Seacrest Beach has a natural beauty that is represented in the state forest that borders it. Hiking trails exist within the forest, making themselves available to the Seacrest Beach resident or guest. Other walking or biking opportunities exist in Seacrest Beach. A walking and biking path parallels highway 30A for its 18 mile journey. This path passes through Seacrest Beach and provides a perfect place to exercise while soaking up the scenery.

Seacrest Beach is west of Alys Beach and Rosemary beach, just minutes away. Rosemary Beach has a post office and restaurants, shops and hiking trails of its own. From Seacrest Beach it is also only minutes away to Seagrove Beach and Seaside. The town of Seaside offers many viable options for resident and tourist alike. During the summer a free concert series is held in the Seaside amphitheater once a week and is always well attended.

One thing that Seacrest Beach shares with its neighbors along 30A is a type of living that is reminiscent of simpler times. There is no commercial encumbrance in Seacrest Beach. There are fine architectural houses throughout, a beach in its natural state and a pine forest filled with wildlife. Seacrest Beach is truly set in such a pristine location that peace and quiet are a given. You can’t help but feel at ease in Seacrest Beach.

Seacrest Beach is also perfectly placed if you should decide to venture out for more exploration. Of course, there exists the fine Camp Creek Golf Club right around the corner off of 30A. But a short trip to Destin or Panama City can help to relive any itch one may have for up tempo excitement.

From Seacrest Beach one can travel to Panama City and shop at the newly established Pier Park. A movie theatre and so much more is available there. In the other direction, west of Seacrest Beach, Sandestin and Destin provide ample opportunity for nightlife, music, shopping and restaurants. Shopping in the area includes Destin Commons where Bass Pro Shops can be found, and the largest complex of its kind, the Silver Sands outlet mall.

Seacrest Beach offers the best of both worlds. One can be within the simplest, quietest most serene of settings in Seacrest Beach, but still trek out for more drama should one choose. Seacrest Beach truly is paradise."
