Help Victims of Hurricane Michael with Operation Santa Boat
While Hurricane Michael hit the Florida panhandle in October, many of the victims are still recovering financially from the storm. So many families are struggling to make ends meet during the holiday season. In order to help victims of Hurricane Michael during this stressful time, Okaloosa County is joining together with Operation Santa Boat to provide some Christmas Cheer. The Emerald Coast CVB is filling boats with Christmas gifts and delivering them to families in Bay and Gulf Counties with the help of our local charter captains.
How You Can Help
You can drop off new toys, sweaters, pajamas, winter gear, and toiletries at any of the seven collection centers until Saturday, December 15th. However, if you don’t live locally, you can still help out. Just go to the Operation Santa Boat website to purchase items on their Amazon Wish List.
Collection Center Locations
It’s the season of giving and our neighbors on the Florida panhandle need our help. Pick up a few gifts for Hurricane Michael victims while you’re out doing your Christmas shopping and drop them off at one of these locations. Don’t forget you can also donate gifts online if you don’t live in the area!
