Those interested in viewing live musical performances during their Destin vacation will not be disappointed with the variety they can find at Harborwalk. From 90s and Beatles covers, to upbeat originals, you can find it all on the stages at Harborwalk. While of course everyone's taste in music varies, I have found a couple bands that I believe appeal to lovers of many different genres. I have seen both of these bands in the Old Destin/HarborWalk area and been blown away by both. When I first moved to Destin, I was able to catch A Flock of Sea Monkeys at the second floor outdoor bar area at the famous McGuire's Irish Pub. The band plays songs from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, and everything from classic rock to southern rock and dance music. I was even able to throw a couple requests their way and they came through with stellar performances of every song I wanted to hear at the time. Just this past weekend, I came across another local favorite at Harborwalk. Roshambo is a local band that has been playing the Destin area since 1997. The band plays everything from 90s rock to the Beatles and is playing Harry T's every Saturday this summer. I had a great time hearing songs from my childhood (late 90s into early 2000s) and some old favorites. Again, sometimes I have a song that I just have to hear and was able to get a request in for a Radiohead song that was met immediately.
