Help Victims of Hurricane Michael with Operation Santa Boat

While Hurricane Michael hit the Florida panhandle in October, many of the victims are still recovering financially from the storm. So many families are struggling to make ends meet during the holiday season. In order to help victims of Hurricane Michael during this stressful time, Okaloosa County is joining together with Operation Santa Boat to provide some Christmas Cheer. The Emerald Coast CVB is filling boats with Christmas gifts and delivering them to families in Bay and Gulf Counties with the help of our local charter captains.

How You Can Help

You can drop off new toys, sweaters, pajamas, winter gear, and toiletries at any of the seven collection centers until Saturday, December 15th. However, if you don’t live locally, you can still help out. Just go to the Operation Santa Boat website to purchase items on their Amazon Wish List.

Old 98 Destin dropped off over $3000 worth of gifts at the Operation Santa Boat kickoff on December 5th with the proceeds from their Special Edition Hurricane Michael 98 Love tee.
