Things to Do

Last week we covered The Top 10 Things to do in Destin. This week we are continuing east along 98 to 30A. With its unique beach communities, beautiful state parks, and rare dune lakes, there is plenty to do along 30A. So once again, we have asked our guests, "What are your favorite things to do while vacationing along 30A?" The results are in and the following are the top 10 things to do in 30A:

10. Food Trucks

It will feel like you have stepped back in time when you see the vintage Airstream trailers lined up along 30A in Seaside. Choose from mouthwatering BBQ, grilled cheese like you have never seen, Hawaiian ice, organic smoothies, beach dogs, and more.

9. Point Washington State Park

With over 12,000 acres this Florida state park is home to some of the states best hiking and off-road biking trails. With the recent addition of campsites, many families can camp right next to the East dune lake. Point Washington is also dog-friendly as long as they remain on a leash.

7. Grayton Beach's All-Natural Kiddie Pool

As the Western Lake meets the Gulf of Mexico it shallows out creating an all natural kiddie pool with no waves or currents. This family-friendly swimming spot is a popular weekend destination for both vacationers and locals.

6. Vintage Movies at Eden Gardens

Spend a summer evening watching a vintage movie under the oaks of Eden Gardens State Park. Films are free with paid park admission ($4.00 per vehicle). Movies start at 6:30.
