Five Star Beach Properties, a luxury vacation rental company, has implemented an oil spill policy to protect all guests. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PR Log (Press Release) – May 05, 2010 – Five Star Beach properties is a luxury vacation rental rental company in Destin, Florida. We understand your concern over the oil spill in the gulf and the effects that it may have on your upcoming vacation. We have been watching the situation very closely as it directly affects our business and livelihood. At Five Star Beach Properties we run our business with honesty and understand that the guests will continue to be the core of our business this year and for many years to come. At this time we have not heard of any rental companies adding an oil policy, they are sticking with their normal 60 or 90 day cancellation policies. We do not think that is fair to our guests who want to enjoy our beautiful beaches when they come to this area. For this reason, we are taking a proactive approach to protect our guests and make them feel more comfortable. The oil spill policy is posted below. NOAA is the agency with the most up to date, accurate information on the spill. Here is a link to their website: http://www.noaa.gov Here is a link to the oil spill trajectory map: You can see the daily projections of where NOAA is expecting the oil to go. http://response.restoration.noaa.gov/book_shelf/1912_TM- ... We are confident that if the oil spill flow can be stopped in a timely fashion that we will not have any effects in our area. The winds and currents have been great so far in helping to contain the oil spill and it has not seemed to spread towards Florida at this time. We will continue watching it very closely and will be here to answer any questions that you may have. Thank you so much for your understanding during this unique situation.
