Osaka Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi Bar is a family-owned Japanese restaurant in the heart of Destin. With hibachi, a full-service bar, sushi, and sashimi, there’s something everyone can appreciate here. Osaka also specializes in events, so it’s a great place to host a birthday or anniversary party.

2. Harbor Docks

Harbor Docks has been serving fresh seafood in Destin since 1979. They specialize in fresh Gulf to Table food that’s made from scratch with seafood that comes from their own wholesale market. There’s something for everyone here, but their sushi and sashimi is some of the best on the coast!

3. Camille’s at Crystal Beach

Located in the heart of Destin in Crystal Beach, Camille’s is another favorite among locals and tourists alike. Camille’s is a sister restaurant of Harbor Docks and serves up Gulf to Table food as well. Just steps from the beach, Camille’s offers visitors delicious seafood, sushi, and southern food.

4. Simply Sushi

Simply Sushi is another great sushi restaurant in Destin. This intimate Japanese restaurant serves authentic and creative sushi creations. The head chef, Chef Sayam, even won the “Chef of the Year” award in 2006. Best of all, Simply Sushi delivers to anyone within a four-mile radius, so you can eat sushi from the comfort of your own vacation rental.

5. McGuire’s Sushi

McGuire’s Sushi is right next door to Destin’s iconic McGuire’s Irish Pub. They offer a wide selection of delicious sushi and sake you’ll have to try for yourself. If you’re a fan of McGuire’s Irish Pub, you’ll have to be sure to try McGuire’s Sushi the next time you’re in town!

6. Jackacuda’s Seafood & Sushi

If you love sushi, then you need to try Jackacuda’s Seafood & Sushi. Located right on the Destin Harbor, Jackacuda’s won the Best in Destin 2019 award for its sushi. You can join Jackacuda’s for Happy Hour every day between 11 am and 5 pm where you can get sushi rolls for $5. In addition to Happy Hour, they also serve Sunday Brunch with bottomless champagne, $5 Bloody Mary’s, and live music.

7. Sushimoto

Last, but not least, Sushimoto in Miramar Beach is another wonderful hole-in-the-wall sushi restaurant you’ll need to try first hand. They specialize in all sorts of creative sushi and sashimi rolls. There’s limited seating though, so be sure to get there early to grab a table! This place is popular for a reason!
