South Walton's first Signature Event of the Year, the 30A Songwriter's Festival, begins next weekend, January 17, 18, and 19th. Tickets are on sale now, but the price increased to $190.00 on Wednesday, January 8th. In addition to the more than 200 performances at more than 25 venues along scenic Highway 30A, there will be two special, VIP wine dinners over the weekend. On Saturday, January 18, the WaterSound Beach Club invites you to experience a four-course gourmet meal prepared by Joe Truex of Watershed on Peachtree in Atlanta. Wine consultant Adam Caperton will provide the wine pairings for the evening, and Kristen Bush of Sugarland will provide the entertainment. There are only 75 tickets available for this exclusive event, and you can purchase yours online. The second VIP wine dinner will be held Sunday evening at Grayton Bar and Grill. Dinner will be created and prepared by Steven Satterfield of Miller Union in Atlanta, and Adam Caperton will manage the wine pairings. Entertainment will be provided by singer/songwriter Shawn Mullins, and one hundred tickets are available online.
