Destin concertLabor Day is right around the corner, and with that comes the “unofficial” end of summer  and the beginning of the Emerald Coast’s spectacular fall season.  Last year, The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation launched its popular Thursday Night Concerts in the Village. For years, the Thursday Night Concerts in the Park were a Destin area staple. With the new venue, the Dugas Pavilion, these concerts were bigger and better than ever. For ten weeks during the summer, locals and visitors alike gathered to enjoy some of the best local and regional bands around. Based on the success of the summer concert series, the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation is launching the Autumn Concert Series. This new concert event takes advantage of the dynamic new venue and great weather for five weekly concerts.  Say goodbye to summer with the musical styling’s of the Lava Lamps, The Fountain City Players, and The Modern Eldorado’s. The Return, a nationally renowned Beatle Tribute Band will close the series. You can purchase tickets at the event, and popular Supper Club memberships are also available. Summer may be over, but the fun continues at the Mattie Kelly Arts Village.
