Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival at the Fort Walton Beach Landing
Three-day event, June 3 – June 6
This event primarily takes place in Fort Walton Beach, about a 15 minute drive from Destin. Additional events commonly take place in Destin as well. The following events are a must-see for those interested in the pirate history of the Emerald Coast!
Friday – festival at the Ft Walton Beach Landing with music, entertainment, food, and drinks. Fireworkds at 9:00 PM.
Saturday – beer tour and festival at the Ft Walton Beach Landing. Celebration with pirate ships at Crab Island
Monday – Torchlight Parade at 7:00 PM on First Street up to Eglin Parkway in Ft Walton Beach
Red White and Blue Hero Celebration at HarborWalk Village
Every Thursday in June and July, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Celebrate the heroes of the United States Armed Forces, first responders, and community leaders at HarborWalk Village’s annual Red, White, and Blue Hero Celebration! The first ceremony of the season takes place on June 2nd, and will be followed by weekly firework shows every Thursday.
Fat Tuesday Parade at HarborWalk Village
Every Tuesday June through August, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Ready to catch some beads!? Come out to the Fat Tuesday party at HarborWalk Village where you can enjoy crazy floats, beads, and free goodies. The party starts at 7:00 PM with live music by FuZion Band and the Village Brass Band, parade rolls at 8:30 PM with a fire spinning show by Just Add Fire following the parade.
Nashville Songwriters Florida Sunshine Tour at HarborWalk Village
Wednesday, June 15 at 8:00 PM
Country music hits are performed by the world’s best songwriters at HarborWalk Village. The musical performances begin at 8:00 PM on the main stage.
National Flip Flop Day at Tropical Smoothie Café
Friday, June 17 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
