Digital graffiti is the WORLDS FIRST outdoor festival dedicated to projection art and it's happening right in our very own Alys Beach on June 5-7. Often referred to as "Urban Projection", artists use projectors and animation technologies to cast their images onto the urban structures and skyscrapers of Alys Beach. Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach is the first outdoor festival specifically organized to showcase this group of underground artists work. Alys Beach is the perfect location for such an art show because all the structures in the town are white on the exterior! The white structures make for the perfect backdrop for the projection art that these artists work so hard to create. Thousands of dollars in prize money is up for grabs as artists compete for the title of "Best in Show." Past winners of this prestigious award have been from Germany, California, and Freeport! Digital submissions come in from as far as China and Sweden and those lucky enough to get tickets to the event are sure to be impressed by the colorful displays and animations. More information on this event can be found at the Digital Graffiti page on Facebook.
